  16. I just totally re-formatted a Quantum LPS540 drive. New partitions
  17. and everything. Even used RDPREP. Still using FFS, though.

  19. Then I started re-installing software again. (PageStream, DSS8+, etc.)
  20.  
  21. But then the partition I'm loading up becomes invalidated.
  22.  
  23. What the heck is going on?

  25. I've run DiskSalv, doing a Repair, Validate, Salvage, Validate. Then
  26. the info shows the drive as having a valid bitmap again.
  27.  
  28. But I don't want to do this every day.
